Cabinet making-woodworking process #3
Cabinet making-woodworking process #3
This cabinet is the structure using a frame and panel to adopt the knock-down system due to the big size.
*Even though wood material is the same thickness and species, the velocity of shrinking and swelling is different for the weather(humidity). So it is difficult to use a solid panel only for making the knock-down type of furniture.
I got two thin panels(14mm) through re-sawing 1.5"(38mm) cherry.
And then gluing up panels.
Used a sawing machine instead of a portable router to make a grove in the frame.
And then use a portable router.
